Getting TomEE snapshot

When asking for a feature (or a bug) on openejb/tomee mailing list it regurlarly ends with something like “fixed on trunk”. Then the user generally ask how to get the trunk binaries. So here a small post on how to get it if you don’t know.

For the impatient

TomEE is deployed on apache nexus (but note it is not deployed each time a build is done but by a cron-like or manual task).

Here the url: https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/

So to get TomEE SNAPSHOT go to https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/openejb/apache-tomee/, select your version and your package (take care of last digit which should be the higer one).

For others

First checkout the trunk at the url (svn): http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/openejb/trunk/openejb/

Secondly go to the checkouted folder and build in quick mode TomEE: mvn clean install -Dmaven.test.skip=true -pl tomee/apache-tomee -am

Finally go to tomee/apache-tomee/target and get your archive.
